What Old Telugu TV Shows Do You Prefer To Re-Watch With Family?
X
As DD National started re-telecasting old popular shows like Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana, Mahabharata and Shaktiman. The Telugu twitterati is also looking for the re-runs of classic Television series on various channels.

The list of shows we would prefer goes likes this:

Ruthu Ragalu

The first full Telugu Daily serial and the story holds, even today. People fell in love with the characters so much that we wouldn't mind some classic episodes or a quick mash-up for present generation.

Anandobrahma

Best comic talents of Telugu Cinema ever, participated in this series and Brahmanandam became the anchor/host of the series. Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Jenny, Subbaraya Sharma, Rajiv Kanakala and many others brought popular jokes to life.

Chal Mohanranga

Dharmavarapu Subramanyam before becoming the ultimate lecturer in films, made a comic program that mocks news and KBC as well. He called computer, Dingutaka ji, introduced some funny characters as news anchors, reporters. Some classic episodes will be fun to watch.

Shantinivasam

Jakkanna SS Rajamouli's first brush with big success. He revolutionised story telling on TV too. It will be really nostalgic to see such a series back on TV.

Lady Detective

Vamsy came up with whacky yet pleasant comedy with good suspense in this series. Some episodes would still entertain many for sure.

Sri Bhagavatham

This could be running still but Bapu-Ramana created mesmerising series on TV with the budget given to them. Catching up some first episodes where there went bonkers with effects and creativity, would be fun.

Rahasyam/Marma Desam

For those who don't mind some suspense thrills in Desi Hardcore lore, should catch it up. It will be a delight to watch the first episodes where the storytelling is tight.

Sneha

A neighborhood girl solving problems of the entire colony while she is dealing with her own. Sure latest generation should be able to lap it up.

Antharangalu

The biggest hit serial after Ruthuragalu. Few episodes should be able to entertain us still.

Anveshitha

Many would love to thrilled by the ghost in the attic. As kids, 90's generation feared the ghosts in the series, the most. May be they would love to introduce it to their kids too.

Nanna

While Amrutham is the best comedy series, Nanna had most heart-touching story. Pace might be a issue but it will surely hit you in the feels.

Guppedu Manasu

You can see why Prakash Raj was regarded as the most talented actor early in his career. Balachander gave him his lifetime opportunity in this series and he grabbed it with both hands.

If Daily serials are cool,

Idi Katha Kadu

Just for the brilliance of Subhaleka Sudhakar, a criminally misused/under-used talent in Indian Cinema, we should watch this series. Again only, classic episodes.

Vidhi

This is a series that made Rajkumar, a TV Megastar and Kinnera, Yamuna, household names in their comeback as TV actors. Ladies might enjoy the story, still.

Pinni

Just for the classic song - "Krishnamma ku Godari ki Thodevaramma" and the call out by a young girl - "Pinni". Play the song and we are good.

If we can have some good fun entertaining chat show episodes back;

Avakayyara?

There are some brilliant tips in these episodes on how to interact with strangers by absolutely best anchor on Telugu TV ever - Suma. You might just want to watch it, to build your personality skills.

Aata Kavala ... Paata Kavala?

There have been many versions of this program but we can find some early interactions of our stars in this program with audiences. Would be lovely to jog up those memories.

Talk of the Town

When people had no Internet at their disposal and Twitter, this show used to entertain them with funny tasks and Top Ten films as well.
