The Tollywood film industry is having a few concerns and the issues are troubling the industry to a level that the producers have had enough of the issues and wanted to address them at the earliest and the much-awaited meeting was held the other day and several key aspects came to the discussion.

The film circles said that the producers reportedly came to a conclusion that the film shootings will be stopped from the 1st of August and the producers took the tough call as they wanted to put an end to the issues which have been troubling them for quite some time.

Stalling the shoots of the film is not a small thing and it could bring huge losses for the film industry. This also tells how problematic the issues were for the producers that they wanted to stop the shootings till the issues are addressed and they get clarity on this.

Though many reasons played their part in bringing issues to the industry, three reasons are said to be crucial and the producers have reportedly stressed that the three issues need some focus and the issues should be looked into at the earliest.

The rise in the production cost which was started post the pandemic outbreak is a major concern for the producers. It is said that the heroes and heroines have hiked their remuneration and showing stars to the producers in broad daylight.

The dip in the theatre revenues of the film is another big issue that has been troubling the producers. Besides the low hit percentage, the films getting streamed on the OTT platforms was also discussed by the producers in the key meeting.

Expressing concerns about the delay in the shoot as a few artists are coming to sets late, the producers discussed the matter and gave their inputs on how the delay can be reduced by asking the actors to follow some strict timings.

On top of this, the producers also discussed the issue of hiking the wages of the cine workers working in all the 24 crafts, as they demanded the same earlier and even called for a strict.
