When did Sridevi lose Rs 25 crore at once?

Sridevi is known to be one of the most successful heroines of Indian Film Industry. That's not the case with her personal life after marriage with Producer Boney Kapoor. She has her share of ups and downs, when it comes to financial issues.
At the time when everything looked so nice after the release of her comeback film 'English Vinglish', Sridevi's home caught up with fire due to short circuit and the loss is to the tune of Rs 25 crore. While the first floor when Boney's mom stays got partly damaged, The second floor where he lives with Sri and two daughters got completely damaged. The work is still going on and the Kapoor family had to wait for at least one year to move back to their home.
Recently, Boney Kapoor had a lucky escape as the car he was traveling rammed into a tracker in Mumbai. The producer feels some power has protected his family and it a warning of God not to take happiness for granted.
