We are not talking about Alia Bhatt but her elder sister Pooja Bhatt who was a heroine back in the 80s and early 90s. Her choice of films was too bold for that time and during that time, Mahesh and Pooja Bhatt did a photoshoot for Stardust magazine cover where they were having an intense lip kiss. It created a lot of havoc in the media those days and Mahesh Bhatt's comments created even more trouble.
He said, "If Pooja wasn't my daughter, I'd love to marry her." This disgruntled the fans. Pooja Bhatt will be seen again on screen alongside her sister Alia in the upcoming 'Sadak 2' directed by Mahesh Bhatt.
