When Rajamouli Rejected Salman Khan's Film

As revealed by senior screenwriter Vijayendra Prasad, Rajamouli rejected the opportunity to work with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
âI narrated Bajrangi Bhaijaan story to Rajamouli at first. He liked the story but didn'my evince interest in directing it. I then took the story to Kabir Khan and later Salman Khan came on board,â he said.
Vijayendra Prasad added that Rajamouli regrets missing the opportunity to direct Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
"I narrated the story of Bajrangi Bhaijaan while Rajamouli was in a bad mood. He was filming a crucial sequence in Baahubali in scorching heat while I narrated the story. He wasn't in the mood to decide on the film. I should have narrated the story in some other time. He himself told me he regrets not directing the Salman Khan starrer," Vijayendra Prasad said.
Rajamouli is presently busy with RRR which is in final leg of shoot. Vijayendra Prasad is providing the story for this film.
