When Salman Said 'Get Lost' To 'Godfather' Team!

Megastar Chiranjeevi is busily promoting his upcoming release 'Godfather'. This remake of 'Lucifer' is all set to hit the screens on 5th October and fans cannot wait to watch it. The theatrical trailer raised the expectations heavily and the Hindi trailer came out recently too. As we know, Salman Khan played a special role in the film and he worked just because of his friendship with him.
Speaking in an interview, Megastar revealed an interesting thing about Salman Khan. He said, "When Salman was offered to be paid for GodFather, he shouted 'get lost'. He didn't care about the money that was offered. 'you can't buy my love for Ram(Charan) and Chiranjeevi garu with money. My respect and love for Sallu Bhai increased multi-fold after this."
It is quite common to see big stars appearing in other hero's projects but a star of Salman's stature working in a Telugu film without any remuneration speaks volumes about the man's personality. As we know, the film is releasing in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam languages. Netflix reportedly bought the digital streaming rights for this film. Nayanthara and Salman Khan will be seen in major roles while Puri Jagannadh, Satyadev, Sunil and others will play key parts in 'Godfather'.
Mohan Raja is directing the movie while RB Choudary and NV Prasad are producing it, while Konidela Surekha is presenting it. Nirav Shah is the cinematographer while Suresh Selvarajan is the art director. Thaman is the music composer.
