Where Did Those Stars Go?
By: Tupaki Desk | 23 March 2020 5:33 AM GMTIndians showed that no matter how many differences we have and how diversified we are, we all are one and united when it matters the most. Out Tollywood celebrities too showed their support to the Indian government by strictly following the Jantha curfew and paid their respects on Sunday evening to the doctors, policemen and other front line people who put us first instead of their own lives.
Many of them posted videos of themselves clapping from their balconies. It is a rare sight to see these many celebrities coming forward for a good cause. Usually, our stars do not indulge in such activities if they don't get something in return. Though some of them posted their clapping videos in order to get publicity, they have to be appreciated for coming forward.
On the other hand, few of our star heroes and heroines went completely missing yesterday. Ravi Teja who stays away from social media most of the time did the same on Sunday too. Even Nandamuri Balakrishna's video too did not come out. Heroes like Nagarjuna, Akhil, Mahesh Babu who tweeted about supporting Janta Curfew before went completely missing on Sunday. Barring a few heroines like Tamanna, Pooja Hegde and Samantha, none of the others posted videos of them clapping. Though it is not mandatory for the celebrities to prove themselves by posting such videos, it would definitely influence the common people to stand together against this deadly virus.
There are comments on social media which say that these celebs did not post videos or pics of themselves clapping as they were not paid by the Modi government. Let us see what the celebrities have to say about those remarks.
