Dashing director Puri Jagannadh is known for his speed. He completes films at a rapid pace and saves a lot of money for the producers. Also, he gives good quality within a limited budget and time. Actors are always happy to work with him and stars claim that working with Puri is like going on a vacation. The 'Pokiri' director usually announces the release date on the first day of the shoot and keeps up his word.
But he slowed down a lot for Vijay Devarakonda's film. After a hit like 'Ismart Shankar', he planned 'Liger' with Vijay on a grand scale. The film is being made on a pan-Indian level and the shooting is currently going on in Mumbai. The shooting was kept on hold during the lockdown and it began recently. The first look poster was also released but what shocked many is the fact that Puri didn't announce the release date.
Most of the films which are under making have locked the dates of their arrival in order to avoid any clashes. Even films that are yet to begin have announced their release dates and Puri staying silent till now is raising many eyebrows. People are starting to wonder the reason behind Puri Jagannadh not revealing the release date. We need to wait and see when Puri speaks about it.
