Megastar Chiranjeevi is the name and hes a matinee idol with magnanimous image, craze and astounding fan bases. Though he is a legend today, early in his career he too approached film offices like those struggling aspirant heroes and character artists. And who auditioned Chiru for the first time.
Recalling those moments, Chiranjeevi revealed interesting stuff. In 1978, its Bapu who auditioned me for Manavoori Pandavaulu movie. After looking at my pictures taken during first schedule of shoot, he complimented that my eyes are dazzling, Chiru said, while attending the ongoing Bapu Film festival as a honorary guest.
