Who offered MP ticket to VV Vinayak?
By: Tupaki Desk | 16 March 2014 6:38 PM ISTVV Vinayak is a special name in Tollywood. He has one of the best strike rates in Telugu and is one of the few directors who can draw audiences by the 'director's card'.
Speculations are growing wide that the director is likely to bid adieu to films to turn a full time politician soon. It was rumored that Vinayak is making grounds to join YSR Congress Party led by YS Jaganmohan Reddy and chalking out plans to contest from his native place in the 2014 elections. But the mass director clarified about the rumors and said that he has no such plans.
"A couple of days back, few politicians approached me and offered Rajahmundry MP ticket . But currently I'm not interested in politics and I have so many things to achieve in cinema.says Vinayak.
He also opined about Pawan Jana Sena party and observed trueness in Pawan speech .Vinayak said Pawan represented anguish and pain of a common man
For Now It was clear that VVV is not going to join active politics and busy with his upcoming film Alludu Sreenu.
Vinayak earlier campaigned for his father Krishna Rao, who served as a Sarpanch for TDP and later encouraged him in his native (Chagallu) to join Chiranjeevis Prajarajyam Party. Recently, the directors father passed away and it seems Vinayak has made up his mind to keep distance from politics.
