Ram Charan and Jr. NTR are coming together for the first time with RRR, in the direction of SS Rajamouli. Both of them gave up two years worth of dates for the film and their next film producers, directors are waiting for this movie shoot to be over, for them to start their work.
Covid-19 outbreak pushed everyone's plans by months and we don't know what is the future of Telugu Films that are being made and how will the Industry, cope up with all the delays and financial issues.
But the fans of Jr. NTR and Ram Charan are asking the same question in every debate about RRR - Who will earn a market in Bollywood with the film?
NTR fans say that their Young Tiger will roar Worldwide and Ram Charan fans are confident that Thoofan/Zanjeer time trolls, issues will be answered with this film.
Both think their hero will get better market like Prabhas. But Prabhas earned the market due to Baahubali becoming a household name in Hindi speaking areas. Not just because of his performance. Movie has become a proper cult hit in Bollywood which no one else could repeat in this decade.
Now, if SSR delivers another big hit, he will be gaining more market and power as a filmmaker than the actors. Unlike Prabhas, they will have to work harder for market to grow in Hindi areas too.
Prabhas proved with Saaho that people are ready to watch him in any kind of a film but if he delivers a good one, the reception will be on par with stars in Bollywood. Such phenomenon won't repeat itself as it is very rare!
May be fans should keep their expectations in check and enjoy the film, for what it is and it will be!
