Who would have been fit for Daniel Shekar character if not Rana?

It is fundamental exercise for any film enthusiast to look at a character - lead or antagonist or support, and give two three different options or names to cast in that particular one.
Few characters seem to have been written keeping certain actors in mind. Some actors own them so much that we cannot imagine another person in that character. Few characters become tailor made for the actor and the actor also delivers, making them immortal.
Rana Daggubati seems to have been born to play characters that have negative shades. He was perfectly cast in Baahubali as Bhallaladeva and he did give his career best performance.
Later, he did Nene Raju Nene Mantri and delivered another good performance in the film as Radha Jogindra. Now, Daniel Shekar seems to only suit him and no one else.
He could stand up to Pawan Kalyan's screen presence and even matched his rage in few scenes. That is the strength of tailor made characters finding right actors.
All the three characters that got Rana Daggubati huge name, have one thing in common. They all are "perceived as antagonists" while Bhaaladeva is truly a villain by every definition. Daniel Shekar is a normal person with good heart but has some wrong qualities due to his father's influence and he is a staunch alcoholic.
If his underlying good is awoken, he would turn into a nice politician than a money-grabber, power hungry beast. Bheemlanayak, Pawan , realises this in the end when he looks at Samyuktha Menon.
Rana brought smoothness to foolish bravado and humungous grace to lines written by Trivikram Srinivas. He did not get intimated by Pawan Kalyan and gave his best as Dani.
He has a potential to impress audiences with similarly nuanced and ill-mannered person characters. Hope he carries on his good form and deliver many more great performances with his solo and multistarrers.
