Star heroine rejected Saaho because

It is a well-known fact that Bollywood beauty Shraddha Kapoor is marking her Tollywood debut with the much-awaited high-budget action entertainer Saaho starring Prabhas under the direction of Sujeeth. Before Shraddha was selected to play the lead, several star heroines including Anushka, Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor were considered.
As Anushka was still working on her weightloss, she was ruled out fron the list whereas other Bollywood actresses couldn't do the film because of their previous commitments and remuneration issues. But, a star heroine rejected the female lead role in Saaho as she felt that heroine's role was short in the film. If the buzz is to be believed, it is none other than Highway actress Alia Bhatt. Saaho producers initially approached Alia and narrated the script. Filmmaker Karan Johar also tried to convinve her to take up the project.
However, the Highway actress politely rejected the offer claiming that her role is very short and less important. She added that her role will fade out among so many supporting cast and doesn't stand out like Prabhas's role. Despite being a fan of Darling Prabhas (after watching Baahubali), the actress rejected to star with him and is looking out for performance-oriented roles.
