Why Babu Rejected to Become Cherrys Father?

Earlier there were reports that Jagapathi Babu was approached by Krishna Vamsi to play Ram Charan's father in his next film GAV. However, Babu politely declined the offer saying he was not ready to take that role.
The reason behind the rejection of JB was not known and many said that he was not satisfied the screen presence in the movie.As per reliable sources, Jaggu Bhai felt that role had limited scope for him and that is the reason he chose not to be a part of the film.
The recent release trailer of the film is giving strength to the specualtions. Its evident that only Ram Charan, Prakash Raj and Srikanth have been highlighted in the movie teaser and the father role was not appeared anywhere.The character of Charan father will appear in some climax sequences and having less importance compared to Srikanth role too.So by considering all the above JB reportedly declined the offer.However Malayalam actor Rahman has been roped as Ram Charans father.
Currently Jagapathi Babu has a film with Mahesh and many star directors approaching him with good roles.Well, thats a good move by Jagapathi Babu. Lets hope he gets some meaty roles in the future and entertain us in varied roles.
