Tamil Nadu BJP President Dr Tamizhisai Soundararajan made sarcastic comments on Hero Suriya while responding on his interview to a newspaper about NEET exam and Anitha's suicide. She dared to say Suriya have no knowledge about NEET why because he is an Actor, not Doctor. 'Only a Doctor knows the importance of NEET. While Suriya's remuneration is in crores, We are toiling hard on the streets,' she said.
Suriya Fans came all guns blazing at the BJP Chief for making such remarks on their favourite star. They trolled the Tamizhisai Soundararajan and used abusive language in various forms such as tweets & memes to express their anguish.
Immediately, All India Suriya Welfare Association issued a press release appealing Fans not to indulge in any such negative campaigns as the Versatile Actor is completely against such practices. 'Whatever the BJP Chief commented should be treated as her opinion. Suriya would never approve abusive language or behaviour. We condemn the abusive language used and Members of Fan Clubs can't stoop to such low levels. Suriya will stand by what he said in that particular interview. We issue an apology to Tamizhisai Soundararajan on behalf of Suriya Fans if any of words used by our Brothers had hurt her,' the statement read.
