Why is Brahmi calling that Director?

After enjoying stardom for years, it seems like comedian Brahmanandam's market took a denting with the arrival of others like Posani and Prithvi.
Sometime back Brahmi in an interview that he never asks any director for work but only directors are in need of him. But now, the man who used to shoot for all 365 days other than Sundays is sitting idle. Talk is that he's making continuous phone calls to director Sreenu Vaitla who always wrote interesting roles for him in his movies.
For that reason, Brahmi is asking him to carve him out a superior role in "Mister". We have to see how far it works
