Why is Dhanush not coming to promotions?

Versatile actor Dhanush and classy director Gautham Menon teamed up for an interesting project titled 'Enai Noki Paayum Thota'. This was supposed to be Megha Akash's debut project. The film completed its shooting a long time ago but Gautham Menon's financial troubles made this film to stay in the boxes for more than a year or two.
Clearing all the hurdles, the film is getting released this weekend. It is being dubbed in Telugu as 'Thoota'. The advance bookings too have opened and Gautham Menon is doing all he can to take the film into the public. But Dhanush is not showing any interest in promoting this film and is focused on his other projects. He didn't show up for any press meet or interview and this may be because he was vexed with continuous postponements. Also, people are still not able to believe that this film is releasing as they have seen it delaying a lot of times before.
So, it is in the hands of Dhanush to convince people to walk into the theatres. But instead, he is not showing any interest in this film which is amusing many. We need to see whether Dhanush turns up for promotions if it gets a positive talk or not.
