Why is Rajanikanth dull today???

The whole of India is celebrating Holi, the festival of colors, with high enthusiasm and happiness. But Superstar Rajnikanth is staying quite low, dull and unhappy on this festival eve. Whats the reason.
Apparently Rajnikanth was given the name Rajnikanth on the eve of Holi only. His mentor K Balachander has renamed him from Sivaji Rao Gaekwad to this name on Holi festival way back in 1975. His first film Apoorva Ragangal was released in the same year and that saw a star Rajni launched into Tamil films.
Last year in December, K Balachander passed away after prolonged illness. That made Rajnikanth celebrate his first Holi without his mentor, as he calls up Balachander every year on that day to wish him. Sad indeed.
