By: Tupaki Desk | 21 April 2015 1:24 PM ISTJudgement of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's 2002 hit-and-run case will be pronounced by a Sessions Court on May 6th, 2015. Judge DW Deshpande announced the Judgement Date in Court Today as the arguments in the case have come to an end.
Salman Khan was charged under Section 304 Part II (culpable homicide not amounting to murder). If found guilty, He will receive a maximum sentence of upto 10 Years in prison.
Last Month, Salman Khan's Driver Ashok Singh told tha court that it was he who is driving the ill-fated car at the time of accident not the Star. While Salman claimed he wasn't drunk on that day, Test Reports showed alcohol in his blood more than the permissible limit.
Bollywood would incur a loss to the tune of Rs 200-Rs 300 crore if Salman Khan, the most bankable Superstar, was sentenced to prison. While films like 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' and 'Bajirao Mastani' were on the sets, Action Entertainers like 'Kick 2', 'Dabangg 3' & Others are in the pipeline.
