Why Saaho and Sye Raa Are More Important For Trade?
By: Tupaki Desk | 17 Jun 2019 6:01 AM GMTAny time of the year, at any instance, trade will be expecting for a big hero film and a big production to perform well, as families and other people who don't really watch the films regularly, tend to watch such big films when they get the most of the things right!
Megastar Chiranjeevi's comeback Khaidi No. 150 is the best example of that. People wanted to watch Chiranjeevi on big screen and the flaws of the film did not become issue to them.
Baahubali films from Prabhas and SS Rajamouli also come under same category. People thought they should watch the film, at least once and that too at theatres.
Now, Sye Raa and Saaho are coming from both the heroes after 2 years gap. Yes, their last releases were in 2017. For both of them, the length of shooting schedules and time taken to complete their films, is not planned in such a way to have an identical gap.
Saaho got delayed due to the Dubai action sequence and also several sequences that needed Prabhas getting acquainted with underwater skills and some more training.
Sujeeth Sign's ambition for the film was far too superior than he realized before but the young director is happy with the output.
Sye Raa, on the other hand isn't planned to the perfection say sources. Even though the production house needed all big actors like Nayantara, Anushka, Tamanna, Sudeepa, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapathi Babu and Amitabh Bachchan to come together with Chiranjeevi, Surrender Reddy and team, took more time than the team first planned to execute everything it seems.
There have been rumors that Chiranjeevi did express frustration time to time for taking too long to set up the things. Now, the team is adamant to release the film by October and they are working round the clock.
Both films have cost producers more than 150 crores. For Saaho, Baahubali-2's big victory Pan-India is enough to make it a definite big opener on 15th August and recent teaser records have proved the interest of the public in it.
Sye Raa team has to build the buzz. The movie taking so long to complete is not seen as a healthy sign by fans too. But they want the movie to click and they are just waiting for the confirmation of release date.
For trade, after Maharshi, they need solid hits that will end up collecting more than 100 crores share at Telugu markets only. Saaho and Sye Raa seem to have the potential and they are just hoping that the big gamble on both of them, pays off.
As per initial trade gossip, both the films are carrying total of Rs.350 crores hopes of the exhibitors and distributors, just in Telugu markets!
