Sai Dharam Tej was the first choice to play lead in 'Shatamanam Bhavati'. He, however, turned down the offer and suggested the makers to prefer Sharwanand. Soon after listening to the script, Sharwa signed it and the rest is history. It became the career-best grosser for this charming hero & also a big turning point to his career.
What is the reason behind Mega Hero rejecting this National Award-winning flick? Dil Raju was determined to release 'Shatamanam Bhavati' for Sankranthi despite clash with 'Khaidi No.150' and 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni'. Whereas, Sai Dharam Tej doesn't want his movie to clash with that of Chiru's 150th flick at the Box Office. Hence, He turned down the proposal.
