Why should we BAN them?: SP Balu
By: Tupaki Desk | 5 April 2016 7:55 AM GMTLegendary playback singer SP Balasubrahmnyam came in support of the Dubbing Industry. 'Making a straight Telugu film is much easier than dubbing other language films. Telugu Audience were able to enjoy the work of great actors like Shivaji Ganesan because of the dubbing done by Dasaratha Ramayya, KVS Sharma and Jaggayya. Dubbing is a great method. Don't ill-treat it!,' he appealed.
During the book launch of 'Telugu Cinemallo Dubbing Patalu' penned by Dr.Paidipala, SP Balu opined there were lot of instances to say Dubbing Films featuring budding actors doing much better than star-studded straight Telugu films. He faulted the idea of Industry Bigwigs to impose a ban on Dubbing films. 'If we are capable, We should deliver much better films than other Industries. Why should on ban a good film?,' he questions.
Balu recalled he entry into Dubbing Industry with 'Manmadaleela' wasn't planned. He also shared the experience he had while dubbing for 8 roles done by Kamal Haasan in 'Dasavatharam'. He gives the credit for the success of dubbing films to dialogue writers. 'For Dubbing films, The Writer himself is a Director,' declares the Legend.
