Why TFI Held Back Ban On News Channels?

As per reports in circulation, Tollywood Bigwigs had made up their minds to stop supplying Film Content to News Channels from May 2nd.
However, Naga Babu has issued a clarification that it's just a mere speculation and no such decision was taken by the Industry. How the stand of TFI changed in the past few days and why did it hold back a crucial decision?
Representatives of Journalists Unions (Allam Narayana and Kranthi) held few rounds of discussions with Allu Aravind, D Suresh Babu, KL Narayana, Tamareddy Bharadwaj and few others to resolve the issue amicably. They have conveyed to these influential film celebs that Media maintained self-restraint and decided against debates with Sri Reddy after she crossed the line of decency and limits. In addition, It's been brought to their notice that there was neither conspiracy nor political angle.
On the other hand, The Duo questioned why Morphed Videos of Sri Reddy was circulated and attempts to spread negative impression on media. They even asked why the whole Industry was backing the stand taken by one political party in the issue.
In fact, Tollywood never had any plans to impose a ban on all the channels. They just considered the proposal to deny content for only those channels which attempted to tarnish the image of Film Industry. TFI have every right to decide with which channels it should maintain dealings, after all it's business. This is just a self-restraint exercise but not ban on all news channels.
