Why this Project is so special for Sai Pallavi?

People assume Sai Pallavi is a Malayali just because she made her acting debut with the blockbuster 'Premam'. Actually, She is a Tamilian but wasn't able to do a film in her Mother Tongue so far.
In the past, Sai Pallavi was approached for Mani Ratnam's 'Cheliya' and Vikram's 'Sketch'. She, however, couldn't sign these projects for different reasons.
At last, Director AL Vijay of 'Nanna' and 'Abhinetri' fame roped Sai Pallavi for his upcoming Tamil project. This project is very close to the Premam Beauty as it's her first movie in her Mother Tongue. Currently, The pre-production work is in full swing.
Sai Pallavi is currently shooting for Varun Tej-starrer 'Fidaa' directed by Sekhar Kammula. It's a love story of a Telangana Girl & NRI.
