Why Tollywood Taking Time to React to New Relaxations from AP?

The Tollywood film industry dealt with the biggest crisis since its inception with Covid. Shootings were halted and the releases were postponed. Back-to-back lockdowns also pushed the industry towards losses. When the industry seemed to recover from the situation, it faced a big setback.
As a major concern to the industry, the Andhra Pradesh government had brought a Go regulating the ticket prices. The members of the Tollywood industry met Chief Minister Jagan and listed out their concerns on the GO.
A delegation led by Megastar Chiranjeevi met the Chief Minister. After the meeting, the Tollywood members thanked the Chief Minister for giving them time and understanding their situation, and responding positively.
As an answer to their requests, the government gave its nod to increase the ticket prices. However, the industry got partial happiness with the government imposing terms on films to get the ticket prices getting hiked and the extra shows.
After the relaxations were granted, one hoped that the Tollywood industry would come together to thank the Chief Minister. If not the industry, at least those who have met the Chief Minister would thank him for the relaxation.
To everyone's surprise, only Megastar Chiranjeevi and Pan-India star Prabhas have thanked the Chief Minister. Taking to social media, the stars thanked CM Jagan for the government's support of the industry and films.
At the time of writing this article, the likes of Megastar Chiranjeevi, Prabhas, R. Narayana Murthy have responded to the issue, while others like NTR, Mahesh Babu, Rajamouli, Ram Charan, and Koratala Siva are yet to respond.
Though Ram Charan and NTR did not attend the meeting, they will get a partial benefit in Andhra Pradesh as RRR was allowed to hike ticket prices and extra shows were also allowed.
The heroes and directors not thanking the Chief Minister for the new development had raised many doubts. As the new relaxations came with a set of terms and conditions, a new doubt on whether the industry is happy with the relaxation or not has been raised. On the other hand, it is believed that the members might meet CM Jagan like earlier to thank him. We have to wait and see what happens here.
