Tollywood is no exception for Corona and already few producers are feeling the heat! The latest news doing rounds in Telugu Film Nagar is all about the cut in budgets of the films and remuneration of the stars.
It is said that already the Producers Council is in talks with the big stars to reduce their pay cheques and thus help the producers. It is evident that producers like D. Suresh Babu and Director SS Rajamouli said that there is no chance of opening Theaters in the next eight months and thus all are said to face the doom in these days.
Now, Ace Cinematographer Chota K Naidu in an Interview said that the major chunk in the film making budget goes to the actor's remuneration and If the star's like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Ram Charan, NTR, Allu Arjun and the likes just take advance and limit themselves to take remaining after the success of the film. This is the only way we can save the crisis in the Industry.
The big question doing the rounds in Tollywood is will the stars accept these kind of ideas? Usually they take the remuneration mostly before the dubbing of the film so it remains to be seen if they come forward to save their bread and butter or just cut the branch they are sitting on? Let's see.
