Will 'Hridayam' remake work like 'Premam'?

Premam is a classic romance movie from Malayalam film industry. Nivin Pauly became a South India wide huge name post the success of the film.
Remake of Premam with Naga Chaitanya faced lot of criticism yet it worked in Telugu. After many failures, Naga Chaitanya got a success with the remake and his fan base in girls consolidated with the film.
Now, Malayalam film industry came up with Hridayam, another feel good romance. A film that is moulded similar to Premam in story but Screenplay is different.
Hridayam works due to music by Hesham Abdul Wahab and the director, Vineeth Srinivasan's conviction. Vineeth has a different style in direction and writing, that works for his kind of films.
It is not easy to imitate. That is, if you want to remake his films, it is better to bring him on board. If someone else tries to make his kind of film with his story, it may not work.
In Telugu, his big hit Thattatin Marayattu came as Saheba Subramanyam and failed. He wrote original Oru Vadakkan Selfie in Malayalam and its remake in Telugu, Meda Mida Abbayi failed even though it had Allari Naresh in the lead role.
Pranav Mohan Lal, the lead in Hridayam doesn't have an image like his father Mohan Lal. He had to prove his acting skills and he did with this movie.
It may seem an easy movie to make but bringing out the nuances and believability that Vineeth achieved with his cast, writing will be a huge task for any director in other languages. It is Rajkumar Hirani kind of filmmakers' territory.
Even Shankar kind of a senior filmmaker failed to bring 3 Idiots in South Indian languages as Snehitudu/Nanban with Thalapathy Vijay.
