Will Online Sale make Movie Tickets Affordable to public?

Despite the Tollywood Film Industry making multiple requests to facilitate offline sales, the Andhra Pradesh government did not change its decision and went ahead with it. With the High Court saying that the movie tickets can be sold through Andhra Pradesh State Film Television and Theatre Development Corporation (APSFTVTDC), the government issued a few guidelines.
The guidelines say that APSFTVTDC will serve as the nodal agency and the tickets sold through the platform will come with a service charge of 2 percent. Adding more confusion to the topic, the government allowed the theatres to sell the tickets online.
Besides APSFTVTDC, theatres that are already selling tickets online can continue to do so. While selling the ticket online, the establishments should have to list the options and facilities they offer.
