Will Rajni Restart His Dream Project 'Rana' Again?

With superstar Rajnikanth declaring that he is not interested in joining politics anytime soon, the focus of his fans has shifted on to movies once again. He is currently acting in a film titled 'Annatthe'. The shooting will resumer once Rajni becomes fit again.

But Kollywood sources claim that he is also thinking of restarting his dream project once again. A few years back, Rajni started a film named 'Rana' under the direction of KS Ravikumar. Rajni shed a lot of weight for this high-budget film and Bollywood actors like Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan were supposed to work on this film.

After a grand launch, Rajni's heath was affected and the project was shelved. Fans thought that this movie may not materialize ever but Ravikumar claims that 'Rana' may start again. He said, “I am continuously in touch with Rajinikanth sir. Six months back, I narrated the final script of Rana to him, once again. He loved it completely and said that he would like to do it after he gains more physical strength. I'm looking forward to that day.”

Fans are hoping that this project would take off in the near future at least.
