Will The Industry Shift Its Base From Hyderabad?

For a long time, Hyderabad has been the heart of the film industry with a lot of studios, labs and film cities developed around it. But the recent turn of events is making everyone to think that the film industry may start to make a move from Hyderabad and get divided.
The Telangana government has not given them permission to restart shootings again which is causing a lot of trouble to the producers and filmmakers. On the other hand, the Andhra Pradesh government is reportedly planning to give permission for shootings to commence within the next few days.
If it happens, films that are left with only small portions of shooting to wrap up may make changes in their script and finish their films in the Andhra region. Sources say that the AP government is giving permissions a lot easier to the film industry. If this trend continues, experts are sensing that it may not be long before the film industry shifts its base from Hyderabad to Vishakapatnam. Some bigwigs ae even commenting that the industry may even get separated into two if it continues in the same way. Let us wait and see what happens.
