Will The Release Date Prove Lucky For 'Agent'?

The film industry believes in sentiments a lot. Right from the producers to heroes, everyone have their own set of superstitions and follow sentiments. It is quite understandable since there are crores of rupees involved. Even fans believe these sentiments and Akkineni fans are hoping that one such sentiment works in favour of Akhil's spy thriller 'Agent'.
After a lot of delays, this high-octane action thriller is hitting the big screens on 28th April. Surender Reddy directed it and the release date is quite lucky for Tollywood. Sr NTR's 'Adavi Ramudu' released on the same date and ended up as an industry hit. Superstar Mahesh Babu's 'Pokiri' was released on 28th April 2006 and it turned out to be an industry hit as well. On top of everything, 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' was released on 28th April and turned out to be a ground-breaking hit of Indian cinema.
Though no one expects Akhil's 'Agent' to become an industry hit, everyone are hoping that it becomes a big hit and gives a huge boost to Akhil's career. No big releases in the next few weeks, 'Agent' is expected to have a good run in the Telugu states. All it needs is a positive talk to become a huge winner this summer season.
