It looks the decision on the ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh will finally be coming out soon. A new GO is expected to be issued after making a few changes in GO no.35 in order to reduce the ticket prices. This ongoing issue for the last year is finally going to end soon as per reports.

The government came up with a GO on April 8th through which they reduced the movie ticket prices. They stated that equal prices should be maintained for both small and big films. On top of that, they shut down the benefit shows and shows which shocked many.

The film industry was rightly hurt by the decision of the AP government and some of the bigwigs openly criticized the YSRCP government for wontedly imposing these rules as a part of their revenge. We all know how much stir it caused in the film and political circles.

A lot of celebrities made their voices heard through social media and the politicians replied quite harshly which led to a huge social media war. While a few bashed the government, some others requested the government to take back the GO.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had a meeting with the Telugu film industry's influential figures at his camp office. Megastar Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Narayana Murthy, Rajamouli, Koratala Siva, and others were present at the meeting. They expressed their concerns regarding the ticket rates.

YS Jagan promised to help the industry in surviving through the hard times. He said that the ticket rates would be issued in such a way that it will not be a burden to the common man whilst avoiding losses to the producers. He also assured the industry people about the permission for the fifth show and even said that big films will be specially considered.

Many expected it to arrive by the end of February but it didn't happen. Many stated that the government wontedly targeted Pawan Kalyan's 'Bheemla Nayak' and delayed the GO.

After all the Hungama, the issue is finally going to arrive in the next few days. The committee submitted their report and Jagan's government will let their decision out clearly in the next few days.

While the previous GO was issued on April 8th, 2021, the new one is expected to arrive on 8th March. The long 11 months which created a lot of trouble for both parties is finally going to end.
