Director Venu Sriram hasn't stepped out of Dil Raju's compound till date. He made his directorial debut in 2011 with 'Oh My Friend' which was a commercial failure. He took a gap of six years before coming up with 'MCA' which turned out to be a good hit. After 4 years, he is all set to arrive with 'Vakeel Saab'.
This is the biggest film in his career till date. He directed Pawan Kalyan and any Pawan film is bound to have enormous expectations. 'Vakeel Saab' has a huge hype thanks to Pawan's image, interesting trailer and good songs. Despite the film being a remake of 'Pink', he made a lot of changes in the script and made it his own. The film is releasing on April 9th and it is on this day that Venu Sriram's future will be decided. People can start to predict if he has what it takes to make big projects with big heroes or not.
If he passes this litmus test, he has a good chance of starting his 'ICON' with Allu Arjun. This film has been in the news for so long. Bunny liked the script but decided to keep it on hold and started new projects with star directors like Trivikram, Sukumar and Koratala Siva.
