Tamil Star Vijay have political aspirations. He wishes to rule Tamil Nadu just alike MGR, Karunanidhi & Jayalalithaa. Since few years, Vijay kept laying foundation for politics using the services of his fanbase.
At the audio launch of his upcoming flick 'Sarkar' directed by AR Murugadoss, Vijay expressed his wish to be the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. 'Thankful to the love showered by Fans. AR Rahman composing music is like Oscar Award for my movie. If I team up with Murugadoss, It's going to be a hit for sure. This movie have a political connection to thrill the movie lovers. Keerthy Suresh has given her best. Varalakshmi offered a top notch performance. We can work as hard as possible for success. A section of people have been striving hard to ensure 'Sarkar' doesn't become a hit. We are going to contest elections to establish 'Sarkar'…I'm referring to the film. Vote for 'Sarkar' if you like it. I haven't played CM in the movie...I won't act if at all I become CM in real life,' he announced.
Vijay could be focussing only on his upcoming projects for at least few more years as both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan will be eyeing victory in 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly Polls. He could be floating new party aiming for 2026 Elections.
