YS Biopic: Bhoomika As Sharmila.. Is It True?

'Yatra' is the biopic of legendary Telugu politician and united AP CM late. YSR. Considering the popularity of YSR, the biopic has become one of the crazy Tollywood films. Malayalam Superstar Mammootty is playing the role of YSR in the film. Mahi V. Raghava is directing the film and the regular shoot has commenced a few days ago.

Meanwhile, there are reports in the media that YS Sharmila's role is crucial in the film and senior actress Bhoomika has been approached for Sharmila role. But the 'Yatra' unit members are denying any such reports. They are saying that 'Yatra' is about YSR's political journey and his Pada Yatra in particular and it will not give much screen time to YSR family members. They are saying that they have approached Bhoomika for a fictional character but not for Sharmila role. But Bhoomika reportedly turned down the offer. The unit members are saying that the film will start with the crucial scenes like Congress party meeting in Gandhi Bhavan on June 18.

There are reports that Rao Ramesh in KVP Ramachandra Rao role, Tamil star hero Suriya in YS Jagan role etc. It is interesting to see how many stars going to add to the star cast of 'Yatra'.
