You can kill Me if that's your wish: Mahesh Kathi
By: Tupaki Desk | 1 Sep 2017 4:06 AM GMTThe mobile of Mahesh Kathi hasn't stopped ringing since the day he criticized Pawan Kalyan's style of functioning as a Politician. It has gone to the stage that Fans abused and threatened to kill the Critic for way he spoke against the Actor-turned-Politician.
In a Facebook video, Mahesh Kathi clarified he never wanted to make Pawan Kalyan issue a controversy. 'The views I had expressed in a web channel interview had been posted on Fan Pages and even my mobile number was shared. I just defended myself when Fans questioned my credibility, self respect and stature. Neither I did this for popularity or for the sake of any political ambitions. All these accusations look very silly. Did I ask for this controversy? Did I ask anyone to share my video and number? I don't understand why I have been blamed'.
The Critic questioned how could he remain silent when his phone doesn't stop ringing since the past 4-5 days. 'I am deprived of sleep and My work is getting disturbed. I haven't stooped to the level of using Pawan Kalyan's name for Popularity. He might be a great person but even I have my own thing and I needn't bother about his Fans. Pawan Kalyan doesn't mean to me anything. He isn't important in my life…you (fans) have made him important for me since the past 5 days'.
Mahesh Kathi claims he is speaking to local and national media because he has to defend himself because of his existence, security and self-respect. He questioned why fans have been torturing him and who is going to end this mess. 'In that interview, I haven't spoken about Pawan Kalyan's personal life and hasn't abused him. I just expressed my views on his political stand and the opinion I had on him. Would you kill me for doing so? I would stop talking only if my phone stops ringing. Else, The damage would be only for Pawan Kalyan and that's been caused by his fans itself. If PK doesn't want to speak about the issue, Let him atleast place a Tweet. I want this non-sense to stop. I will express my opinion frankly and I won't run away. Kill Me if you want and Beat me up if you wish to do so, but you can't stop me speaking,' he says.
