Padmaavat is undoubtedly one of the most controversial movies in India. The movie got involved in so many controversies even before the release. Some people not only protested against the movie but also against the movie unit. Some announced a bounty prize amount to those who behead Deepika Padukone.
Dodging all the controversies the movie finally hit the theatres on January 2th. Even though the team has stated that they haven't showed Padmavathi in a bad way no one listened to them but after the release of the movie everyone realized that there is nothing against Rani Padmavati in the film. During the shooting a person announced that he will give Rs. 5 crores to those who will bring Deepika's head. Some even announced to cut Deepika's nose. However, the actress stayed brave and silent all this time but in a recent media interaction, Deepika has finally responded on this. She stated that she likes her nose a lot and asked them not to take her nose but as her legs are also long and they can take one.
She shared about an incident that happened when she was 14 years old and walking on road when a person intentionally brushed her. She stopped him and slapped him hard. Talking about Rani Padmini she stated that even without a sword in her hand, Rani Padmavati can combat with her silence itself. In her upcoming movie Sapna Didi, Deepika is playing the role of Mumbai based Mafia Queen Rahima Khan.
