Bollywood is unable to churn out commercial hits for the past two years. Barring a few really good films, many big-budget flicks tanked at the box office and even huge stars ended up scoring the biggest disasters in their careers. But there is one young hero who gained the love of the audience and his entertainers are getting a lot of love from the general public no matter how the reviews are.
He is none other than Karthik Aryan. The handsome hero has a lot of following among the girls right from his 'Pyar Ka Punchnama' days and barring 'Love Aaj Kal', most of his films in the last few years like 'Sonu Ki Titu Ke Sweety', 'Luka Chuppi', 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' have ended up being good hits.
He is now working on 'Shehzada' which is a remake of Allu Arjun's blockbuster film 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo'. The glimpse got a very good response and people are eagerly waiting for this film. The latest we hear is that the young actor charged 20 crores for this movie and it is reportedly the highest remuneration he ever got in his career. Tall and glamorous girl Kriti Sanon will be romancing Karthik in this film. Allu Aravind and S Radha Krishna who produced the original Telugu film are also partners in this Bollywood remake. Pritam is composing the music and we all know the range of success 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' achieved. We need to see if the senior composer achieves the same level of success Thaman did or not. Rohit Dhawan who made 'Desi Boyz' and 'Dishoom' is directing this film.
