Young Hero Too Continue With Venky Formula?
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 Aug 2019 7:41 AM GMTThis year we were introduced to Venky Aasan, a comic yoga pose that F2 director, Anil Ravipudi created. Now, we are getting a look at Venky Formula for hits at box office.
Remakes of films from other languages are not new. They used to be a common practice in 1960's and in 1950's very major studio used to make their films in multiple languages with different stars.
Krishna, Sobhan Babu did do major remakes but they had original content coming out regularly too. Chiranjeevi did less number of remakes but he had mixed fortune with them. Nagarjuna after a point in his career, stopped doing remakes but he is going for International films, now.
But Venkatesh became a star hero mostly because of remakes. He did have super hits and blockbusters like Bobbili Raja, Swarnakamalam, Dharma Chakram, Coolie No.1, Preminchukundam Raa, Prematho Raa, F2 but his majority of films are remakes.
Sooryavamsham, Raja, Pelli Chesukundam, Two Town Rowdy, Varasudocchadu, Intlo Illalu Vantitlo Priyuralu and many more hits of Venkatesh are remakes. Many have decided to look at his movies and wonder if he is re-making or doing a straight film.
This kept his record of most successful hero until recently when he had more flops than hits, alive. Bellamkonda Suresh is looking to adopt this formula for his son, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas further.
He is escastic and over the moon with Rakshasudu hit. He declared that his son will follow this formula of remakes of good hit films like Venkatesh further in his career.
He also declared that the young actor is top no.1 in Hindi dubbed market no matter the fate of his films in Telugu. He will start donating to improvement of press in Telugu henceforth from movie collections, it seems.
Well, Bellamkonda Srinivas should try remakes but also strong enough straight scripts as that will help him have a balance in his career.
