Young Producer Reveals About The Business Of #SSMB28
By: Tupaki Desk | 3 Oct 2022 1:13 PM GMTIt is well known that Superstar Mahesh Babu and Trivikram's high-octane action entertainer went onto the sets in September. After completing a schedule, they decided to start the next one after the Dasara festival. With 'Swathimuthyam' releasing on October 5th, the film's producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi has interacted with the media personnel and revealed a lot of interesting things.
For people who are unaware, #SSMB28 is also being bankrolled under Naga Vamsi's banner. There are a lot of rumours going around that the budget of this film is over 200 crores and the business was done for around 300 crores. Gossip is that the buyers bought the movie for record prizes due to the Mahesh-Trivikram combination. Also, there were reports that the audio rights went for over 25 crores as Thaman is in great form and he gives the best for Trivikram. Due to Mahesh-Trivikram and Thaman combo, the audio rates went for such a high rate as per reports.
When asked about such huge figures, Naga Vamsi was quick to thrash these reports. Usually, a lot of producers inflate the numbers just to add hype but the young producer decided to take a separate route. He said that the Mahesh-Trivikram project is not a pan-Indian film and it is just a Telugu film thereby questioning how it could do a pre-release business of 300 crores. He clarified that they did not start doing the pre-release business for #SSMB28 and stated that they will think about the business after a good portion of the shooting is done as they would get an idea regarding the film's budget.
Coming to the audio rights, he stated that they usually go for 5-6 crores and announced that 'Godfather' audio rights went for 6 crores. He asked how #SSMB28 could get more than 25 crores just from the audio rights. He made it clear that all the news going around are just baseless rumours. But one can assure that the Mahesh-Trivikram combo is going to help the producers in doing a huge pre-release business.
