Tollywood Young hero Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas is playing a safe game for his Bollywood debut. Instead of going for a new story, Sai Srinivas went for the hit formula by picking a remake.

He is making his entry into Bollywood with the remake of Rebel Star Prabhas starrer 2005 Action Drama Chatrapati, whelmed by SS Rajamouli. The Pooja ceremony of the remake was held recently.

The star gave an interview to a popular daily and spoke about various things, including his debut in B-town. He said Chatarpati is an opt script to him for his Bollywood debut.

Talking about his debut, Sai Srinivas said his Hindi dubbed movies have earned more than 200 million views on YouTube and he thinks this is the right time to enter Bollywood.

Adding further, the star said he is not nervous about reprising Prabhas's role. He is very excited about his debut as changes were made to the script based on Bollywood sensibilities.

Noted Tollywood Filmmaker V.V. Vinayak is whelming the remake. Jayantilal Gada is bankrolling the project under his Pen Studios. The other cast and crew are yet to be announced.

For this project, V.V. Vinayak and Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas are coming together after six years. The duo worked together for the first time for Alludu Seenu in 2014, Sai Srinivas's launching movie.

2005 Action Drama Chatrapathi is the story of a man searching for his mother and brother who were separated while migrating from Sri Lanka.
