By: Tupaki Desk | 20 May 2021 7:41 AM GMTTollywood Young Tiger NTR, one of the best performers in this generation is celebrating his birthday today. Over the years, the Nandamuri scion has evolved as a performer increasing his fan base.
NTR didn't have a cakewalk in his film career. He started his career with a flop. He made a debut as a hero with the love story Ninnu Choodalani in 2001, but the film remained a dud at the box office.
Despite tasting a flop with his debut film, NTR tasted success with his second film Student No. 1 (2001), which marks the directorial debut of SS Rajamouli. After Student No. 1, NTR tasted a big flop with Subbu.
VV Vinayak's directorial debut Aadi released in 2002, established NTR as a mass hero. After a few flops, NTR appeared in Simhadri, helmed by Rajamouli. He was 18 when he had an industry hit on his name in the form of Simhadri.
After Simhadri, NTR had to wait for four long years to add a hit to his name. He joined forces with his lucky director Rajamouli for the third time with Yamadonga. With this, NTR proved that he is capable of doing mythology-based films too.
In 2009, NTR met with a near-fatal accident while campaigning for the TDP party floated by his grandfather, matinee idol, and former Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.
2010-15 is a very crucial period for NTR. After seeing back-to-back flops, NTR changed the way he chooses the script. Temper released in 2015 is an indication that NTR is not interested in selecting the same old scripts. After Temper, there is no looking back to NTR.
NTR will be seen next in the much-awaited magnum opus RRR. He will be seen as Komurum Bheem in the period drama. After RRR, Tarak will emerge as a Pan-India hero. He is selecting his scripts to meet the needs of Pan- India image.
