YS Jagan Asks Tollywood To Shift To Vizag Completely!

Megastar Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Narayana Murthy, Rajamouli, Koratala Siva and others were present at the meeting. They expressed their concerns regarding the ticket rates and churned out a positive response from the government.
Minister Perni Nani announced that they will be increasing the ticket rates and along with allowing five shows per day. Speaking to the film fraternity, CM Jagan asked them to gradually shift the movie industry to Vizag. He promised them a lands in order to build residences and even film studios to whoever comes forward. He stated that the film industry needs to focus more on Andhra Pradesh too since it has more theatres and generates around sixty percent of revenue for every film.

Interestingly, Jagan did not ask just to shoot more films in Vizag but asked Tollywood to 'Shift' to the coastal city which is surprising many. He also said that films made on a budget of more than 100 crores should be treated separately. He claimed that if any film costs more than a hundred crores excluding the remunerations of star heroes and directors, it should be given support or no one would produce grand films in the coming days. He also claimed that online ticket sales are good as the OTT platforms are giving content for just 1000 rupees for a whole year. Jagan stated that the film industry will face tough situations if they fail to get proper revenues.
