YSR Biopic: Who Plays YS Vijayamma?

The trend of biopics can been witnessed in Tollywood at present. About four biopics of NTR are at different stages of pre-production. On the other hand, A biopic of YS Rajasekhar Reddy is being planned by Director Mahi V Raghav of 'Anando Brahma' fame.
There were reports of Malayalam superstar Mammootty essaying the role of YSR. Now, We hear reports of Senior Actress Saranya being the frontrunner to play YS Vijayamma on the screen.
As per sources, Radhika was approached for the role of YS Vijamanna initially. But, Makers are now keen to rope Saranya as she have many similarities to YSR's real wife.
Fans of YSR have doubts whether or not Mammootty suits YSR role. They, however, are pretty sure Saranya is the apt choice to play the role of Vijayamma.
