So many young and aspiring music directors are entering into the south industry. But none of them are succeeding in giving tough competition to the senior directors. On the other hand some of the senior directors are slightly fading but Ilayaraja's heir Yuvan Shankar Raja is proving his talent by scoring music to at least 5 movies in a year. He has been balancing his career well with but both melody and mass songs.
There are some situations where Yuvan has scored music for 10 to 12 movies in one year. He is living up to the name of his father in both Tollywood as well as Kollywood. Yuvan Shankar Raja debuted into the industry with 1997 released Aravindhan movie starring Sarathkumar and Nagma. In the 20 years of his career Yuvan has composed music for more than 125 movies. Amidst high competition it is really remarkable and appreciable of Yuvan to reach the mark of 125.
He reached the 100th movie milestone with Karthi's Biryani movie and now marked his 125th with Vishal's Irumbuthirai. The movie is all set to hit the theatres in March in both in Telugu and Tamil languages. He has already worked in some Telugu movies such as Panjaa, Govindudu Andarivadele movies. Interestingly Yuvan has already signed up to 10 movies in this year 2018.
