Zee Network's fascination with Mahesh Babu continues. Since 'Srimanthudu', This Media House is doing everything it can to bag the Satellite Rights of the films of Superstar. Again, It stood in contention for Mahesh-Murugadoss project despite a mighty blow in the form of 'Brahmotsavam'.
Grapevine in the Industry is that Zee Network bagged the Satellite Rights of Mahesh Babu's 23rd flick for Rs 26 crore. This is a new benchmark in the career of Tollywood Prince.
Though Makers demanded Rs 30 crore, About Rs 4 crore were lost in the bargain. The deal include the Satellite rights of Hindi version as well.
Pre-release Business of Mahesh Babu-AR Murugadoss movie is expected to be over Rs 125 crore. The estimated budget itself touched Rs 100 crore-mark.
