ZEE5's 'ATM': Teaser is a winner!

After years of making massy cinema, star film director Harish Shankar is now in the OTT space for a change. In collaboration with ZEE5, he and producer Dil Raju are gearing up for the release of their maiden web series 'ATM'. Harish Shankar has not only written its story but is also its showrunner. Today, he released its teaser.
At a time when he is doing 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' with Power Star Pawan Kalyan, Harish Shankar is pleased to bring out 'ATM', which tells the story of four petty thieves who get embroiled in a larger-than-life crime out of compulsion. When powerful individuals force them to execute a big-ticket heist, their lives turn upside down. Can they redeem themselves?
To know the answer, we have to wait till January 20, which is when 'ATM' releases.
The teaser gives the impression that the protagonist is driven by the fancy dream of leading a Nawabi life. He is a slum-dweller who wants to strike rich. In his quest for riches, he crosses paths with several characters, one of whom is played by Subbaraju.
Starring VJ Sunny in a massy role named Jagan, the show is content-driven. The showrunner said that he always wanted to explore the heist drama series genre. Describing ATM's characterizations as edge of the seat, he added, "The story has got a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase."
Producer Harshith Reddy hinted that the series raises questions about morality, societal views, and power dynamics. "This is a layered script where the motives of the characters are complex and varied," he suggested. "We needed the right OTT platform to have 'ATM' on board and then Zee5 came forward to collaborate with us on this," he added.
Also starring Krishna, Raviraj, Roiel Shree, Prudhvi, Divya Vani, Divi, Harshini and others, the series' music has been composed by Prashanth R Vihari.
