ZEE5's golden opportunity to Telugu producers
By: Tupaki Desk | 11 April 2022 4:47 PM GMTMedia giant, ZEE5 has been proactive when it comes to setting up interesting projects. They first partnered with Sai Dharam Tej's Solo Brathuke So Better and then bankrolled Nagarjuna's Bangarraju. The media giant then bagged the OTT rights of RRR and KGF 2.
Now, we are hearing that ZEE5 has come up with a golden offer for Telugu filmmakers and this surely is an interesting one.
ZEE5 is very much interested in collaborating with young and talented filmmakers and they have taken a proactive stand on the same. If a director has a good script and a decent enough star cast, then ZEE5 will readily come on board to co-produce the film.
They are not just doing it for small films but also for big ticket films. They are partnering with Dil Raju to produce two of South India's biggest projects - RC15 and Thalapathy66.
ZEE5 is now interested in partnering with small filmmakers as well and all they are asking for is a good story and recognizable star cast for the saleability factor. They have extended their offer to debut filmmakers as well.
This sure is one interesting business expansion model and it remains to be seen if this strategy will work out for them or not.
