'Zero' Became Zero

It has been a long time since Bollywood King Khan Shah Rukh Khan scored a decent hit at the box office. His previous outing 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' also turned out to be a debacle at the box office.
SRK has pinned all his hopes on his recent release 'Zero'. The movie carried a decent pre-release buzz among the audience and Shahrukh for the first time in his career played the role of a dwarf in the film. Everyone thought the movie is going to be a biggest blockbuster. But, on a shocking note, the movie opened with a disastrous talk. Despite having a holiday weekend, the movie utterly failed to make a net collection of 20 crores as well. In fact, though 'Thugs of Hindostan' movie also turned out to be a biggest disaster at the box office, the opening day collections reached 50 crores. But Shahrukh Khan starrer needs at least 3 to 4 days to reach the target.
As most of SRK movies are turning out to be duds, the fans hoped that 'Zero' will definitely become a super hit. But the critics slammed the film for its bland story and poor narration. So, just like the title, the movie also ended up as 'Zero'. The trade is claiming the collections will not take a hike at all.
