Ashu Reddy Father Breaks Silence on ₹9.5 Crore Fraud Case

The controversy around Ashu Reddy has taken a new turn after her father, Koya Venkata Krishna Reddy, spoke openly to the media. The issue is related to a case where an NRI software engineer claimed that he was cheated of around ₹9.5 crore in the name of marriage. These allegations created a huge buzz on social media and in the film industry.

Ashu Reddy had already denied all the accusations earlier. She clearly said that the news being spread is false and warned that she would take legal action against anyone spreading wrong information without her permission.

Now, her father has shared his side of the story. He explained how everything started in 2021. He said, "We got a phone call in 2021 from a person in Kakinada. He said our daughter and his son were colleagues abroad and liked each other. We asked them to come and talk in person."

He added that the family visited them and spoke politely, but later they decided to check their background. He said, "After two or three months, I asked some people I know in Kakinada about them. They told me that they are involved in daily finance business and also have call money cases."

He also shared shocking details about the boy. "When I asked about the boy, they said he already had a divorce case. They said he troubled a girl earlier and left her. After knowing all this, we decided not to continue the relation," he explained. He added that even after rejecting the proposal, the other family kept trying to stay in contact. He said, "We tried to avoid them, but they kept calling and trying to connect with us again."

He strongly denied the financial allegations. He said, "Anyone can make allegations. If they say we took crores, they must show proof. There should be records or evidence."

He also spoke about claims that money was given to Ashu Reddy’s sister. He said, "My elder daughter is working in the US in a good position. I cannot believe she would take money like that. These claims are false."

Talking about his daughter, he said she is innocent and unaware of these matters. "Ashu Reddy is innocent. She doesn’t know anything. She is very talented and worked in a good company. She came into films because of her mother’s support. I don’t like the film atmosphere. I live in Visakhapatnam, and even when I go to Hyderabad, I stay in a hotel. I stay away from all this," he added.

He further said that he does not involve himself in financial matters related to his daughter. "I have zero role in her financial matters. I don’t ask her, and she doesn’t ask me," he clarified.

He also blamed his wife for encouraging their daughter in this situation. "If a daughter makes a mistake, the responsibility is on the mother. I believe my daughter is innocent, but things went wrong because of my wife’s involvement," he said.

Regarding the case, he said they are ready to face everything legally. "We will prove our side with evidence. Truth will come out with time," he stated confidently.

He also revealed that Ashu Reddy will soon speak about the issue. "She told me she is out of station and will hold a press meet after coming back. She knows more details and will explain everything," he said.
